Alicia Keys is a warm, funny, soulful and intimate performer who was asked to host the big, raucous, over-the-top Grammy Awards. We knew having her promote the show in a traditional manner would feel forced, so we played to her strengths and gave her an intimate space and a piano… and just for he fun of it, we threw in a gospel choir.
